FAMILY GROUP CONFERENCE

It's in your hands 

The Family Group Conference (FGC) has three stages

1.     Information Sharing

Everyone has an opportunity to introduce themselves and share

their worries about the family, how they might be supporting the family or how they can offer their support.

2.     Family Time / PRIVATE TIME

This is when all the all the professionals leave the room so the Family can discuss and develop a

plan about the concerns that were raised.

Put in place safety plans, and person's responsible to support the Plan.

3.      Agreement

The Agreement is the PLAN, of what needs to be done, by WHOM, WHEN and HOW.

This Plan will ensure the SAFETY and Well Being of the child or children.

All participants will come to an AGREEMENT .
